I worked with Geoff for almost 10 years and can say he was the most productive front-end developer the company ever had. He constantly met or exceeded estimates, ensuring projects were delivered on time or allowing us to pivot in additional functionality. Geoff excels at writing elegant CSS & vanilla Javascript solutions that require little to no maintenance, but due to client requirements would often have to shift to or learn various frameworks, tools, and coding standards, which he did without slowing down his prolific productivity. He does a great job at ensuring the site looks great at every breakpoint and passes accessibility and performance requirements. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Geoff for the past 8.5 years! Geoff is a superb developer and a great human being that will do anything for anyone. I originally employed Geoff to work on a number of Flash projects as at the time Geoff was a hybrid Interactive designer, with strong Flash and Actionscript skills as well as strong aesthetic sensibilities. Beyond won a contract early on with Apple to develop content in HTML 5, CSS 3, and Vanilla JS so Geoff became an early HTML5 adopter. Geoff rose to the challenge, and now 8 years later Geoff is an expert in HTML5/CSS3 for mobile and responsive web, as well as frameworks such as Google Closure, Angular, and React. Geoff is a solid project lead, well versed in agile, OWASP, and cloud technologies and could fit into any team.
